This morning's OB appointment went well. The Dr said everything was normal and moving along fine.
Kim's lost a few pounds, which we were told is normal during the first trimester. We also found out that she's positive for Group B Strep. This isn't a huge deal, some women just have it. Nothing will be different except Kim will need to take some antibiotics when she begins labor so as not to pass the Strep on to the baby.
We got to hear the baby's heartbeat again, which we weren't expecting. It wasn't another sonogram. This time Dr. Hooi just put what I guess is some type of high powered stethoscope on Kim's tummy and turned it up so we could hear.
It's such a great sound, I think I might make it my new ring tone.
